Gamification-platform
Our innovative project revolves around real-time interactive quizzes where users can engage in head-to-head challenges against actual opponents. Fresh participants have the opportunity to seamlessly join established teams through invitations or even create new teams from scratch, fostering a sense of community and competition. The heart of our project lies in the team dynamics. Team members can initiate challenges against their entire team, triggering a meticulously scheduled in-house championship featuring 10 randomly generated quiz questions. Should an open challenge be available, team members can join within a 1-minute window; otherwise, they can initiate a brand-new challenge. The more participants that engage, the higher the point yield for the victor – an incentive for collaborative participation.
The challenge
Real time playing experience with a lot of users. We had to make sure that the app is fast and responsive. We've also implemented a coding challenge feature where users can write code in the browser and get it evaluated by the server.
Our solution
Our solution was a to host a code execution system on the server and send the code to the server to be executed. We've also used websockets to make the app real time.
